STANYS Annual Conference, Rochester, NY (dates: Oct. 31 - Nov. 3)

Central STANYS is seeking teachers of science to take a more active role in this local section of STANYS.Some of the positions that need interested individuals are listed below.
  • Newsletter Editor : receive information related to Science Education and place into a newsletter format, share the newsletter with Central section members and state organization.
  • Chemistry SAR: Facilitate professional development at the local and state level for Chemistry teachers.
  • Physics SAR: Facilitate professional development at the local and state level for Physics teachers.

Next meeting: Thursday, June 11, 2009 - 4:30pm at Bruce Hall's (8784 Four Seasons Drive) Four Season's Drive is off of Henry Clay Blvd. between W. Taft Road and Buckley Road (closer to Buckley Road). You can access Henry Clay Blvd. from Old Liverpool Road, 7th North Street, Buckley Road or W. Taft Road.
